Just back from course set up. The rain is now done @ 6 p.m. and it was a steady off and on rain since 3 today. The course was so dry that precip. just sucked right into the ground. Yes there is some mud but it is not going to be a MUD FEST, just a little wet.
I would go with a knobbier tire tomorrow not super aggressive just a little more mud shedding and gripping, something like the Michelin AT.
There were a few riders out checking out the course and were pretty clean considering the rain.
Forecast looks great for tomorrow, if anything Kid's comp will get it cleaned up for the rest of us!
For the Expert/Comp race expect some slick roots and rocks in all Expert Spurs.
