Prep for Winter riding

We will be conducting trail work at Plum Creek on Thursday to get the trail ready for Fat Biking this winter.

Hello all,

The Single Track Escape is this Sunday!  This is the main fundraiser for the MMCC and we use the monies raised this weekend to maintain the local single track, ski trails and help off set the cost of racing for the St. Cloud Composite team members.

We are looking for volunteers for course set up and race day.

Friday, August 5th at  5:30 p.m. we will be setting up the course for pre-ride Saturday and racing Sunday.  Meet up at the trail head.  We hope to have enough help to have 3 crew, 2 crews will work in the woods to set up the course and the 3rd will help set up the infield and race start.

Sunday, August 7th at 7:45 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. we need help with the following areas throughout the day.
Parking
Registration
Raffle
Concession Stand
Course Marshals
Feed Zone
Also looking for people to bake some baked goods, bring bagged or wrapped and ready to sell for $1.00.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to help out.

Also Please NOTE: If you are riding at the North Loop; Granny Hill and some areas of single track around Granny Hill is OFF LIMITS!  There is construction going on at the Prison and they DO NOT want any bikers or hikers in that area.  PLEASE stay on the course we have modified.  WE DO NOT WANT TO RISK LOOSING THE OPPORTUNITY TO RIDE AT THE NORTH LOOP.

Trail work Wednesday and race volunteers needed.

Hello all,

We will be conducting trail work on Wednesday July 27th at the North Loop, 5:30 p.m.  We hope to finalize the trail work for the race on August 7th.  To do: Twisted sister clean up, nail shingles to bridges and bench cut Skid Row since it's now a climb.  Please wear long pants and sleeved shirts.  I will have cold beverages for afterwards.

Also, we are looking for volunteers to help with parking, registration, course marshaling and concession's on the 7th.  We are also hoping to get a good supply of baked goods to go along with the concession stand, so if you are a baker please make cookies, bars or bread.  Prepare these items in baggies or wrap them, we plan to see them for $1.00.

Thank you to all the helpers to date, it's always rewarding to put on a great race with a course in tip top shape!

Trail work this Monday night 7/18/16 @ 5:30 p.m

Hello  all,

We are conducting trail work on the North Loop on Monday the 18th at 5:30.  Time to get the course in race shape.  Meet up at the trail head at 5:30.

Wear long pants, long sleeved shirts and bring gloves.

Cold Beverages will be provided.

We are also looking for people to bake up cookies, banana bread or whatever your specialty is.  We are planning to sell these baked goods at our consession stand for $1.00 each.  If you can have them bagged and ready to go that would be super helpful!  Drop goods off at the race on the 7th or at Revolution Cycle and Ski.

2016 Trail Fundraiser is taking place now.  Fill out the attached form and take it to Fitzharris Ski and Sport or Revolution Cycle and Ski and you can get your one of a kind MAKE THE TRAILS GREAT AGAIN hat.  Member ship is $20.00 per person.

Trail Work at the North Loop June 22nd

Hello,

We will be conducting Trail Work on Wednesday June 22 @ 5 re-routing some trail and opening up the Expert Spur, Twisted Sister Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m.

Please abide by temporary re routes and closure of the granny hill section due to prison construction.

Granny Hill is CLOSED

Hello All,

I've had to close some of our trail at the North Loop/Jail Trail due to some construction that the State Prison is conducting.  PLEASE stay off of Granny Hill and the trails leading up to it and away from that area.  THEY ARE CLOSED

Please follow the yellow tape after Rogo's Run, you'll be directed to the entrance o Max's Option, where you can ride that loop and then return through Rogo's Return. 

Again PLEASE stay off of Granny Hill and out of those areas.  Share with your riding buddies and anyone who you might see on the trail.

We will be conducting trail work at the North Loop on Monday, May 23rd at 5:30.  Meet up at the trail head.  We hope to finish the bridge section in Slippery When Wet and create a temporary switchback on Granny Hill due to some construction that is taking place at the Prison.

North Loop Trail work Monday May 16th at 5:30 p.m.

We will be conducting trail work on the North Loop on Monday May 16th at 5:30 p.m.  We plan to cut back the trees that have fallen, conduct repairs to the first section of bridges and pick up the trash that has blown in.  Bring power drills if you have them, work gloves and ear protection.
